Millennials nowadays have sources of information at their finger tips. With social media, mobile device apps, and the internet, anyone can find almost any educational information within seconds. However, the desire to read books is still very much real, even with our young entrepreneurs.
Its no surprise that reading books will help gain knowledge, we’re all aware of this. What we don’t know is, which books are we supposed to read? Over the years I’ve acquired tons of information from the books I’ve read, or from books that others have referred to me.
When I first started reading books I had no clue where to start, so I searched online for the top books at that time. It was tough not knowing WHAT to look for, but at least I STARTED somewhere. That’s truly all it takes, just take the first step, jump into those first few pages and you’ll be golden.
Here is our List of Best Books for Millennial Hustlers in 2019
Mastery by Robert Greene
Do you ever tell yourself, “I should do this..”, or “I should do that..” Yeah, many of us do. In Mastery, Greene talks about trusting your inner self and having the discipline to go and master a skill. He talks about taking apprenticeships, to learn and get paid at the same time. That your main focus should always be learning before trying to make money. Once you’ve completed an apprenticeship or fully learned something, you utilize those newly mastered skills by testing yourself and your limits. Truly an inspirational read to motivate you to master a skill, or to put forth the effort on your million dollar ideas.

As a Hustler we should understand that consistency is very important. In H3 each of the 3 sections are broken down to provide to you the necessary productive habits you will need that will guide you to success in leadership, as well as many other parts of your lives.

Garvy V is back at it and showcasing others success stories in this sequel to his previous book, Crush It! He touches base on how creating your own content does NOT need to have anything special to it and that you just NEED TO START! The social media icon talks about how social media presence can be vital to your success. This is a great read to show that you can start from nearly nothing.
One of my favorite quotes from Crushing It, “If you’re not 100% happy with your life today, it is never a waste of time to try something that could get you there.”- Gary Vaynerchuk
Side Hustle by Chris Guillebeau
The book title honestly says it all. Side Hustle talks about the different stages of your side hustle and how to bring it to life. What is necessary, what to keep in mind and what steps to take to build and grow your side hustle. Nowadays, the quote”A side hustle isn’t just nice, its necessary” by Chris Guillebeau couldn’t be anymore accurate. My Millennial Hustle started as a side hustle and has grown immensely since its birth. Never doubt how far your side hustle can go.

No one likes a bad habit, but somehow they seem to be the hardest to cut out. In The Power of Habit Duhigg writes about characteristics of habits, and the 3 pieces to them. As well as how to break a habit by breaking one part of the 3 piece chain. Although this cannot be acoomplished without willpower. Duhigg talks about the importance of having proper willpower to break a bad habit or to create and maintain a good one.
A great read if you need to fix some of those bad habits!

An oldie but goodie, Robert Kiyosaki uses his childhood memories to bulid his future.
